Top 10 Wisconsin HS baseball players in Class of 2024
5. Eddie Rynders, SS, Wisconsin Lutheran
Rynders’ stock continues to rise as he enters his final season at Wisconsin Lutheran. Last spring, the 6-foot-1, 200-pound shortstop hit .411 overall for the Vikings and turned things up a notch in conference play with a .500 average, 18 RBIs and 14 runs, leading to conference player of the year honors. Meanwhile, Rynders also earned five wins on the mound for Wisconsin Lutheran with a sub-2.00 ERA, striking out 39 batters during the conference season. Rynders has a long, powerful swing at the plate and made noise over the winter at Prep Baseball Report’s Super 60 Showcase. His performance there could have him in line to hear his name called at the MLB draft sooner than later. As of now, the talented shortstop plans to play college baseball at Kent State.
