Jordan Sears transferring: 5 possible landing spots
Tennessee
The Volunteers had five guards average at least five points this season, led by Dalton Knecht who averaged over 21 points. However, three of those five guards are fifth-year seniors, including Knecht, and won’t return next season. Sears wouldn’t have the same offensive impact as Knecht but he’d still add a big scoring punch to a backcourt that’s losing over 35 points per game. Zakai Zeigler stands at just 5-9 and is the Volunteers’ lone starting guard who could return. Putting two undersized guards in the starting lineup could create issues but Sears would still be a great addition to the bench unit.
