Darian DeVries
DeVries has done an excellent job over the past six seasons at Drake, leading the Bulldogs to a 150-54 record, three NCAA Tournament appearances and two conference tournament titles. Prior to his time at Drake, DeVries spent 17 years as an assistant coach at Creighton so he knows how to recruit in the region.
The biggest question with DeVries is if he could land better opportunities. DeVries is a very popular name in the coaching cycle right now and may be more interested in other open positions over Oklahoma State. However, if he wants to stay in the region, the Cowboys would be an opportunity for him to prove himself at the high-major level.
