Amari Williams transferring; 5 landing spots for forward
5. Boston College Eagles
When he was being recruited, Williams chose Drexel over Charleston which was coached by current Eagles’ head coach Earl Grant. Now, Grant’s team appears it will need a new center with star Quinten Post exhausting his eligibility this season. Given the previous connection between Williams and Grant, perhaps the two sides can reconnect in the Northeast.
However, Boston College has not been a relevant team for many years, not making it to the NCAA Tournament since 2009 and last making the NIT in 2018. Williams will likely attract a lot of options, so would the Eagles be his best choice to improve his draft stock? That seems unlikely.
