5. Cole Gibler, LHP, Blue Springs
Gibler has proven to be an asset at the plate for Blue Springs, but the senior鈥檚 future is likely on the mound as he has blossomed into one of the top pitchers in Missouri鈥檚 Class of 2024. The 6-foot, 175-pound standout has a strong fastball that touches low 90s in addition to a solid slider and changeup. Gibler has continued to rise with some strong showings throughout the summer and fall, particularly at August鈥檚 Area Code Games. Meanwhile, he also put together a strong junior season in the outfield and at the plate for the Wildcats last year, earning first-team all-state honors with an on-base percentage near .600 and a 1.200 OPS. Blue Springs should be in for another solid season with Gibler leading the charge before he heads off to play college baseball at Arkansas.
