6. Kade Durnin, RHP, Camdenton

Durnin is a terrific athlete who earned third-team all-state honors on the gridiron as Camdenton’s quarterback this past fall. Durnin has proven his arm talent through the years on the baseball diamond as well with a fastball that touched 95 mph this past summer at the Area Code Games. Last season, the 6-foot-3, 185-pound standout had a 1.15 ERA on the bump for the 29-5 Lakers and was just as impressive at the plate as he hit .475 with 34 RBIs and 45 runs. Baseball runs in the family of the reigning Ozark Conference Player of the Year as his older brother, Kam, is a freshman at Wichita State, his younger brother, Karson, also plays for Camdenton, and his father, Bryce, is the head coach of the Lakers. Next year, Kade will follow in Kam’s footsteps as a college baseball player at TCU.

Kade Durnin () showed one of day 2’s best breakers – a SL with a lot of depth that overwhelmed hitters. FB had some giddyup. Was on the attack.
