Top 10 Missouri HS baseball players in Class of 2024
9. Andrew DuMont, RHP, St. Louis University
DuMont is one of the top right-handed pitchers in the Show-Me State and is poised for another strong season this spring. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound senior was perhaps a bit unlucky to earn a 3-4 record across eight starts for St. Louis University last year, but he allowed just 10 earned runs and 29 hits as he had a 1.94 ERA, 51 strikeouts and .212 opponent batting average. The first-team all-Metro Catholic Conference pitcher features a fastball that reaches the low 90s and also has good command of his off-speed pitches. After a season where SLUH finished around .500 last year, DuMont will look to take the team to a higher level as a senior before playing SEC baseball at Tennessee.
