10 most impactful players for NCAA women鈥檚 basketball tournament
2. Angel Reese, F, LSU
Reese emerged into a superstar in her first season at LSU last year which culminated with a national championship, and she will now be looking to lead the Tigers to back-to-back titles. Reese鈥檚 numbers are down a bit this year largely due to the talent around her including Hailey Van Lith, Aneesah Morrow and freshman Mikaylah Williams, each of whom will also have a big impact down the stretch. However, Reese鈥檚 presence on the court is most significant as she leads the team with 19.3 points and 13 rebounds per contest. Reese also shoots an efficient 50% from the field and grabs nearly two steals per game. As skilled as she is, the 6-foot-3 forward is simply intimidating on the floor and brings an identity to the Tigers. At 26-4, LSU has as good of a chance as anyone to win another title led by Reese.
