IOWA CITY, Iowa (BVM) 鈥� The 2023-24 NCAA women鈥檚 basketball season has been one of the most exciting in recent memory. A lot of that is thanks to an incredible record-setting year by Iowa Hawkeyes standout Caitlin Clark, but there has been an abundance of talent taking the floor throughout the country ranging from experienced seniors to freshman sensations.
The excitement should only continue during the month of March, particularly after the drama that unfolded in last season鈥檚 NCAA Tournament. In 2023, Clark and the Hawkeyes made an impressive run to the national championship game, knocking off an undefeated South Carolina squad before falling to Angel Reese and LSU as the Tigers claimed the program鈥檚 first national championship.
All three of those teams will again be national championship favorites going into this year鈥檚 NCAA Tournament, but several squads that are led by some of the game鈥檚 biggest stars will also have a chance to win it all.
