Top 10 South Carolina HS baseball players in Class of 2024
7. Treion McFarland, C, Hartsville
McFarland, a catcher and Clemson pledge, was measured with a 101-mile-per-hour exit velocity at the plate last August. The metric, which came by way of Prep Baseball South Carolina, is just one example of the Hartsville High School standout’s potential.
Perfect Game tabs McFarland, who’s 6-foot-1 and 170 pounds, as the fourth-best backstop in his class and a top-500 talent nationally. McFarland has been committed to play at Clemson since July of 2020.
‘24 Treion McFarland showing well in BP. Quick Hands with a lot of athleticism. EV up to 101 Commit
