2. Aiden Harris, 3B, PDG Academy
Harris was a standout for Manchester last season before transferring over to PDG Academy for this spring. Last year, the 6-foot-4, 220-pound third baseman hit .333 with a .474 on-base percentage, a .766 slugging percentage and a 1.241 OPS with 10 hits, 10 runs, 11 RBI, four home runs and a double for his 12-8-1 Lancers squad. For his efforts, Harris was selected as a and participated in the Perfect Game All-American home run derby. He is also expected to excel this season as he was selected as third-team preseason high school All-American by Baseball America.Â
Harris is considered one of the top players in the entire country, ranking third in the state by PBR and first by Perfect Game as well as being ranked as the No. 86 overall prospect in the MLB draft by Though he signed with the Virginia Cavaliers on , Harris may forgo the college ranks altogether and make his way into the MLB if selected high enough in this year’s draft.
