2. Tyler Bell, SS, Lincoln-Way East
Bell is a among high school players and continues to shine at the plate no matter the situation. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound shortstop is a switch hitter with good bat speed which was seen throughout his junior season at Lincoln-Way East as he hit .446 with a .557 on-base percentage and a .843 slugging percentage. Bell hit nine home runs to go along with 46 RBIs, 54 runs, 32 steals, and 32 walks. The senior was tremendous throughout the summer and fall as well with the Cangelosi Sparks and at the inaugural Perfect Game All-American game. His power and ability to put the ball in play will make him one of the most feared hitters in the state this spring before he pursues an MLB career or heads off to Kentucky.
