Top 10 Oklahoma HS baseball players in Class of 2024
5. Cale Sudderth, LHP, Lone Grove
The second-ranked left-hander in the state in his class according to Perfect Game, Sudderth made an impact at the scouting service’s WWBA World Championships this past fall.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound hurler threw three innings, sitting down all but three batters on strikes and keeping the base paths clear. The Longhorns will look for him to do more of the same this spring after finishing a perfect 11-0 in Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association (OSSAA) District 3-4A competition a season ago.
Sudderth is committed to going a ways down the road and playing at Oklahoma State next year.
Cale Sudderth (‘24, OK) worked 90-92 mph in the first inning, with spin up to 2,344 RPMs. Showing a SL up to 2,413 RPMs at 80 mph. Flashed the CH up to 84 mph, killing spin down into the 1,400s. Mixing pitches for success early. commit.
