10 unheralded players who could impact March Madness
Isaiah Stevens, G, Colorado State
The Mountain West is loaded with competitive teams and many talented players who are overlooked due to the conference鈥檚 reach. However, of all the stars the MWC has, perhaps none is better than Stevens. The 6-foot Rams’ senior guard has long been one of the best facilitators in the country and this year is no different as he ranks first in the nation in assists, fourth in assists per game and No. 13 in assist-turnover ratio.
While he鈥檚 best known for his ability to distribute, he鈥檚 not bad at scoring either as he averages 16.1 points per game on 48% shooting and 46.1% from 3-point range. If the Rams make a run in the NCAA Tournament, expect Stevens to be the reason why.
