8. Stone McCaughey, RHP, Lewisburg
Before he decided to play at Ole Miss, McCaughey was considered an uncommitted gem in the Deep South. The Rebels will be happy to have the right-handed hurler, whose fastball velocity reaches 92 miles per hour.
McCaughey was also a Southeast All-Region second-teamer on Perfect Game’s Preseason Underclassmen All-American list in 2023. He’ll throw for Lewisburg High School this season before joining a fairly stacked class in migrating to Oxford.
