Top 10 Mississippi HS baseball players in Class of 2024
2. Samuel Richardson, 3B, Lewisburg
After transferring from Senatobia, Richardson played in all 37 games for Lewisburg High School last year, posting a .301 batting average and pushing across 23 runs. His six home runs were the most of any player in his region.
Richardson, a third baseman and Texas pledge will aim to have a similar sort of success in his second season with the Patriots. Perfect Game describes him as a “special bat with foul-pole-to-foul pole power.” The same scouting service ranks him at No. 2 at his position in the class, behind Virginia commit Aiden Harris.
