Top 10 Mississippi HS baseball players in Class of 2024
1. Konnor Griffin, OF, Jackson Prep
Recently named a Preseason 2024 High School All-American by Baseball America, Griffin might be the most well-rounded prospect on the prep level.
Last season for Jackson Prep, Griffin swung for a .537 batting average — the highest in his district — and had 30 RBIs and eight homers.
He also paced the district with a 1.38 ERA on the bump. As a pitcher, he also had a 7-1 record in 11 appearances. Griffin, an outfielder who’s been clocked at 96 miles per hour while pitching, signed to play collegiately at LSU in November.
OF Konnor Griffin (Jackson Prep, Florence, MS.) is off to a roaring start this season. Here’s HR no. 2 on the year after just 3 games.
Slashing a casual .667/.818/1.833 across 11 PA. The swing is locked in.
