Top 10 New Mexico HS baseball players in Class of 2024
4. Julian Gallegos, SS, Mayfield
Gallegos, who has a bit of a smaller frame at 5-foot-6, 160 pounds, paced Mayfield High School with a .354 average at the plate last year. He also pushed across 17 runs and had eight doubles, two triples, and a pair of home runs during his junior go-round.
Gallegos totaled all three RBI for the Trojans in Game 1 of an opening-round state playoff series against No. 2 La Cueva.
Gallegos, who’s uncommitted but has interest in Texas Tech, was listed as a West Region honorable mention on the 2023 Perfect Game Preseason Underclass All-American team.
