Top 10 New Mexico HS baseball players in Class of 2024
5. Dylan Archuleta, SS, Rio Rancho
Archuleta’s capabilities were on full display in a game at Cleveland High School late last April.
In a 12-5 extra-innings win, the 6-foot, 190-pound shortstop took to the mound in relief for 4 2/3 frames and struck out 10 challengers. His three-run shot in the top of the eighth inning closed the book on the game’s scoring as the Rams earned a District 1-5A title.
Evidently, Archuleta 鈥 an Air Force pledge 鈥 was a big part of why Rio Rancho High School ranked first in New Mexico and won the state crown. He had a single and two RBIs in the final, a 9-6 decision over Centennial.
Committed! Thank you too Coach Kaz and Coach Roesinger for the opportunity to attend The Air Force Academy! Thank you to everyone who has helped me get here! 馃嚭馃嚫 鈿★笍
