7. Trey Hawsey, 1B, West Monroe
West Monroe has been one of the most successful programs Louisiana has seen in recent years thanks to a tremendous lineup that features some players who are at the top of the state鈥檚 Class of 2024 rankings including Hawsey. The 6-foot-1, 215-pound first baseman is arguably the best power hitter the Rebels have to offer, as he hit 11 home runs last season to go along with 43 RBIs and 31 runs while batting .375 overall. The season followed a good sophomore year for Hawsey as well where he hit a clutch walk-off home run in the state semifinals to propel West Monroe to a state championship. Hawsey will be a key cog in the lineup for what should be a strong Rebels team once again this season before he begins his college baseball career at Louisiana Tech.
