Orange Lutheran is a high school baseball powerhouse in California and continues to produce elite prospects, with Curiel being the latest. Curiel is a tremendous hitter who has a smooth and powerful swing from the left side of the plate. Last season, he hit .358 for the Lancers while also scoring 32 runs. Both his hitting and his elite defensive ability were on full display late in the summer as well as he competed in the WBSC U-18 World Cup with USA Baseball.
