9. Adem Bona, F, UCLA
The Pac-12 features a lot of offensive talent, but Bona makes this list primarily for what he鈥檚 done on the defensive end for UCLA in the first half of the season. Bona has averaged 1.2 steals and two blocks this season and is hard to beat defensively down low. Following a 22-point outing in a win over Washington in mid-January, Bona had a line he may be even more proud of in the Bruins鈥� next game against Arizona State that included nine points, six rebounds, five assists and seven blocks. The 6-foot-10 sophomore has been effective overall for the Bruins鈥� offense as well, averaging 12.1 points and 6.2 rebounds while shooting nearly 60% from the field. Staying out of foul trouble has been a slight issue, but Bona鈥檚 physicality and athleticism make him one of the most exciting young players in the conference.
