3. Tahj Brooks
Brooks is a little more under the radar compared to some on this list, but he has done nothing but produce during his first four seasons at Texas Tech. Brooks ran for 568 yards as a sophomore and 691 yards as a junior, but more than doubled the output of those two years combined in 2023 as he carried the ball 290 times for 1,541 yards and 10 touchdowns, averaging 5.3 yards per carry. The yards were the fourth most among all FBS running backs, while Brooks also added 29 receptions out of the backfield for the Red Raiders. Brooks is a shifty back who also brings physicality to the field thanks to his 5-foot-10, 230-pound frame. Currently seventh in career rushing yards at Texas Tech, Brooks will have a chance to become the Red Raiders鈥� all-time leading rusher as a senior.
