12. UCF Knights
UCF has always been a scrappy team under Johnny Dawkins. A transition to the Big 12 this season could prove tough, but the Knights should be able to hold their own and have gotten off to a nice start this year by winning seven of their first 10 games. Two of those losses came to a ranked Miami team and an undefeated Ole Miss squad which should get them ready for what they will face in conference play. UCF is led by talented guard Jaylin Sellers who averages just shy of 19 points. Sellers, along with the Knights鈥� other double-digit scorers, Darius Johnson and Marchelus Avery, could lead UCF to an upset or two in its first Big 12 season, but a serious bid at a conference title is unlikely.
