Zach LaVine trade gaining steam; 5 potential landing spots
3. Golden State Warriors
The Warriors’ offseason trade of Jordan Poole seemed to raise some eyebrows due to the need for another consistent scorer alongside Stephen Curry. While Klay Thompson had provided that in years past, his scoring ability right now has him capped under what is currently needed on a nightly basis. Chris Paul certainly brings a different skillset to the team’s offense, but coming off the bench has limited some of the early returns it needs out of the starters. LaVine slots into Poole’s role from a season ago in a perfect way as they look to knock off Denver in this year’s playoffs.
