2. Cooper Koch, F, Metamora
Cooper Koch is the son of former Iowa Hawkeyes star and NBA draft pick J.R. Koch, but has begun creating his own legacy on the hardwood over the last few years at Peoria Notre Dame. The 6-foot-8 forward is a terrific scorer with a game that excels both inside and out. As a sophomore, he put up around 16 points per game for Peoria Notre Dame, and upped his scoring to 18.6 points per game last season while also averaging eight rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.2 steals. Throughout the year, he shot 48% from the field, 40% from 3-point range and 85% from the free-throw line. Koch will look to make the same impact as he transfers to reigning state champion Metamora for his senior year. Then, the in the Class of 2024 will follow in his dad鈥檚 footsteps to play with the Hawkeyes.
