9. Zion Pipkin, G, Legacy
Pipkin spent only five games of the 2022-23 season at Oak Hill Academy in Virginia where he 6.8 points, 2.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists before transferring back to Texas midseason. Now set to play for Legacy School of Sport Sciences in Spring, Pipkin will hope to replicate the performances he had his first two seasons in the Lone Star State including a standout sophomore season where he averaged 14 points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals for the Westfield Mustangs.
The 6-foot-2 guard is rated as highly as the No. 10 player in the Texas senior class by and holds seven D-I scholarship offers from the likes of Colorado, Houston, TCU and Washington State. However, Pipkin ultimately decided to commit to Wichita State on Oct. 5.
