Top 10 Big Ten basketball players entering 2023-24 season
10. Olivier Nkamhoua, F, Michigan
Nkamhoua is one of the most notable transfers to join the Big Ten this season, and after losing the likes of Hunter Dickinson and Jett Howard, he will be a welcome addition for Juwan Howard’s Michigan squad. The 6-foot-9 Finland native spent the first four years of his college career at Tennessee, and emerged during his junior and senior seasons. In 2022-23, Nkamhoua started 36 games for the Vols, averaging 10.8 points, five rebounds and two assists while shooting at a solid 51.3% clip. The talented forward’s best game of the season came under the bright lights of the NCAA Tournament as he scored 27 points in Tennessee’s second-round win over Duke. That should set the tone for the do-it-all big man going into this season, as he will be a vital piece to the Wolverines’ success in 2023-24.
