Ranked , Hayes is not only one of the top running backs Pennsylvania has to offer, but he is also one of the top rushers in the country heading into 2023. The 5-foot-10, 185-pound tailback has helped lead Aliquippa to back-to-back state championship appearances 鈥� winning the Class 4A title in 2021 鈥� thanks to some gaudy rushing numbers. As a freshman, Hayes ran for 1,759 yards and 23 touchdowns, averaging 7.2 yards per carry. In 2022, he got even better, racking up 1,981 yards and 33 scores while averaging 8.4 yards per tote. Still uncommitted, the four-star running back likely has a college football career in his future, but for now he鈥檚 focused on eclipsing the 2,000-yard mark as a junior with the Quips.
