2. Ethen Knox, Sr., Oil City聽
It鈥檒l be hard for Knox to top what was an historic junior season at Oil City last year, but one of the best running backs in the country may just be able to do it. Last season, Knox was second in the nation with an incredible 3,705 yards, averaging 370.5 rushing yards each time he took the field. In addition to scoring 41 touchdowns, Knox broke Derrick Henry鈥檚 high school record of 400-yard rushing games in a single season with six, and had 300 or more yards rushing in three other games. The PIAA 3A Player of the Year also proved he can play both ways with 63 tackles and and six interceptions, but it鈥檚 his speed and power as a running back that make him one of the top playmakers in the entire country in 2023.
