Every Big Ten football program鈥檚 best season of all time
Illinois: 1923
The Fighting Illini have won five national titles and their third came in 1923 when they finished 8-0. Illinois recorded five shutouts, allowed 2.5 points per game and had arguably the program鈥檚 best football player of all time in Harold 鈥淩ed鈥 Grange, and scored 12 touchdowns.
Harold Grange was a man of many nicknames:

-The Wheaton IcemanRegardless of what he was called, Grange remains an icon in pro football, which he helped put on the map in the 1920s with his greatness.
Grange was born in 1903.
