Top 10 Ohio QBs for 2023 high school football season
9. Brennen Ward, Jr., Gahanna Lincoln
Ward has continued to display his upside over the past couple of seasons playing for his father, head coach Bruce Ward, at Gahanna Lincoln. After seeing action in three games late in the season as a freshman in which he threw for over 400 yards and four touchdowns, Brennen took over as the Golden Lions鈥 full-time starter last season, throwing for 2,079 yards and 22 touchdowns to just seven interceptions. He also led Gahanna Lincoln to its first conference title in over two decades, and helped set a program record for wins (13) for a team that made it all the way to the OHSAA state semifinals. With several key pieces returning, including Brennen, the sky鈥檚 the limit for both the Golden Lions and the 6-foot-2, 180-pound quarterback who already holds college offers from the likes of Kentucky and Boston College.
