10. Peyton Floyd, Sr., Hewitt-Trussville
Kicking off this list is Floyd who had a breakout junior campaign. Last fall, Floyd threw for 2,413 yards, 25 touchdowns and just eight interceptions while rushing for 726 yards and 16 more scores. This performance helped Floyd lead his Huskies into the Class 7A playoffs where they fell in the quarterfinals round to Hoover.
Floyd was recognized by the Alabama Sports Writers Association as not only the first-team all-state quarterback for Class 7A, but also the 7A back of the year as the best skill position player across the classification. While the 5-foot-11, 175-pound had a great season, he has yet to gain much attention on the recruiting circuit as he is unranked on all major recruiting sites, though has made unofficial visits to both and . Floyd will look to bring his game up yet another level during his senior campaign.
