Top 10 Alabama QBs for 2023 high school football season
2. Josh Flowers, Sr., Baker
One of the top playmakers in Alabama regardless of position, Flowers was electric for his Hornets team last fall. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound quarterback threw for 1,453 yards, 10 touchdowns and just two interceptions while rushing for 1,367 yards and eight TDs, leading his team to just the second home postseason game in the program’s 72-year history.
Given his dual-threat abilities, Flowers earned a four-star rating from ESPN and a number of offers from top programs including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida and Texas A&M. Flowers ultimately chose to commit to Mississippi State in March. As one of the top weapons through the air or on the ground in Alabama, expect Flowers to once again dominate his senior season.Â
