Top 10 Virginia high school football players in Class of 2024
8. Bodie Kahoun, LB, Patrick Henry (Roanoke)
Kahoun’s star has been steadily rising at Patrick Henry over the past three years. After moving from safety to linebacker as a sophomore, Kahoun proved himself to be an elite second-level player last season as he registered 81 tackles, two sacks and a pass deflection from his outside linebacker position.
Kahoun is a standout two-sport athlete and after initially committing to Ohio State for lacrosse, he saw his football recruiting interest rise over the past year or so. The linebacker has now risen to as high as the No. 6 recruit in Virginia which has helped him earn football scholarship opportunities from the likes of Florida State, Indiana, Maryland, North Carolina, Tennessee and more. But, Kahoun ultimately decided to rescind his lacrosse commitment to Ohio State and instead committed to join the Notre Dame football program.Â
Excited to announce my commitment to further my academics and play football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
