3. Perry Thompson, WR, Foley
One of the top wideouts in the Heart of Dixie, Thompson showcased his skills for the Lions last season. During his junior campaign, Thompson recorded 87 catches for 1,059 yards and nine touchdowns on offense while also recording eight tackles and two interceptions on defense.
The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Thompson is also considered among the top players in the state, ranking as high as the No. 2 player in Alabama by 247Sports, his highest ranking by a recruiting site. Given his great size and skillset, Thompson earned offers from 12 different schools including Auburn, Miami and Tennessee but chose to stay in-state and play for the Crimson Tide. Thompson will look to push for the top wide receiver spot in the rankings with a successful season this fall.
