With her stellar play in the circle at the collegiate level, Maxwell has earned the opportunity to represent her country as a part of Team USA softball. One of the coaches on the staff of Team USA is Florida Gators head coach Tim Walton.
The Gators could use some help at the pitcher position. With the losses of starting pitchers Rylee Trlicek, Elizabeth Hightower and Samantha Bender, Florida is in desperate need of experienced arms. The team could get just that in Maxwell and, given her playing relationship with Coach Walton, she may be interested in joining his squad in Gainesville for her final season.
