7. Brandon Robinson, Heritage (1995-98)
Although Robinson is the oldest player on this list, he left one of the greatest impacts in the Hoosier State while playing at Heritage High School. With 7,303 yards, Robinson set the IHSAA career rushing record at the time in 1998 thanks to an impressive 2,800 yards in his senior season, a year he finished runner-up for the state鈥檚 Mr. Football award to future NFL quarterback Rex Grossman.
Despite his tremendous high school career, Robinson was not highly-sought after by many college programs. Transitioning to fullback, Robinson began his collegiate tenure as a walk-on at Purdue, and eventually earned a role while playing the same position at Southern Illinois. About a decade later, he returned home to Heritage as an assistant coach.
