7. Merril Hoge, RB (1987-94)
Hoge was born in Pocatello and went to Highland High School. He’d stay near home and play for Idaho State. The Pittsburgh Steelers made him a 10th-round draft choice in 1987. He placed among the NFL leaders with eight rushing TDs in 1989. Hoge played seven seasons for the Steelers and concluded his NFL career after one year with the Chicago Bears.
