5. Cory Kyle, Seagraves (2012-15)
Kyle鈥檚 career didn鈥檛 necessarily result in college or pro success like some of the players on this list, but that doesn鈥檛 make his time playing high school football any less impressive. Kyle鈥檚 talent was seen early and often at Seagraves, as he ran for 3,000 yards as just a sophomore. In his junior season, he put up a ridiculous 3,127 yards and 48 touchdowns.
Although his numbers dipped slightly to 2,557 yards and 34 touchdowns in his senior season, Kyle still averaged 12.5 yards per carry, earning first-team all-state honors. In total, the running back racked up 9,561 rushing yards in his Seagraves career, as well as 132 touchdowns, which rank fifth all time in the Lone Star State.
