Top 10 highest-rated Colorado HS football players since 2000
3. Ryan Miller, OL, Columbine – 0.9859
There are several offensive linemen who have earned a spot on this list, and one of the most dominant to ever suit up in Colorado is Miller. Also a standout wrestler and shot put thrower at Columbine, the 6-foot-8, 295-pound athlete made his name known on the football field, particularly on the offensive line as he became an All-American and the Gatorade Colorado Football Player of the Year as a senior in 2006, leading the Rebels to a state title. That season also led him to be rated as a five-star recruit and ranked 25th nationally in his class.
Miller remained in-state for his college football career as he took his talents to Colorado, becoming a Walter Camp All-American and Outland Trophy candidate by his senior year. He also proved very durable in Boulder, setting the program record for most games started (47). Miller was taken in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns, playing eight games as a rookie before stints with the Broncos, Chargers and Cowboys.
