One of the top running backs in the nation his senior year, Ferri ranked as a four-star recruit in the Class of 2000 after putting up 4,500 yards and 54 touchdowns in three varsity seasons. The two-time state champion as a sophomore and a senior at Everett would head off to the University of Syracuse where he would split time as both a running back and a safety. His five-year career with the Orange would lead to an opportunity at the next level after signing on with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2005. He would eventually land in the Canadian Football League after a short NFL stint.
