Featuring as a two-way star during his time at the prep level, Giles helped lead Marshfield to a Super Bowl championship in the 1998 season as he shined as both an offensive guard and defensive lineman. Giles enjoyed an 11-sack and 75-tackle campaign as he and the Rams collected a 29-3 total record from 1998-2000. The Atlantic Coast League All-Star in 1999 and 2000 Gatorade Massachusetts Player of the Year would go on to play center at the University of Notre Dame after being ranked as a four-star recruit in the Class of 2001.
