Top 10 all-time leading passers in Utah HS football
8. Kody Wilstead, Pine View (2011-14)
Wilstead comes from an athletic family, as his father, Randy Wilstead was a college baseball player at BYU and spent time in the Montreal Expos’ organization. Meanwhile, Kody made his name known on the gridiron, throwing for 9,658 yards and 92 touchdowns during his time playing at Pine View High School.
Also a standout basketball and baseball player with the Panthers, the 6-foot-7, 230-pound signal-caller followed his dad’s footsteps by joining the BYU football program. After redshirting with the Cougars, he transferred to Coffeyville Community College in Kansas, and eventually returned home to Dixie State – now known as Utah Tech – where he became a starter for the Trailblazers.
