Top 10 highest-rated Michigan HS football players since 2000
5. Brandon Graham, LB, Crockett – 0.9930
Graham has gone on to have arguably the best football career of anyone on this list, but it all began during his time at Crockett in the early 2000s. During his high school career, Graham amassed an impressive 307 tackles, 112 of which went for loss, and 56 sacks. Also a kicker and punter for the Rockets who played basketball and competed in track and field at Crockett as well, Graham became the first player from Michigan to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
A five-star recruit who was rated as the 16th-best player overall in the Class of 2006, Graham, like many on this list, decided to stay in state for college to play for the Michigan Wolverines. During his time in Ann Arbor, he made 138 total tackles and 29.5 sacks with 10-plus-sack seasons in his junior and senior years as he became a first-team All-Big Ten performer and first-team All-American.
Graham was selected No. 13 overall in the 2010 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles, and remains in Philly to this day. Across 178 games over 13 seasons, Graham has become a staple of the Eagles’ defense, racking up 451 tackles and 70 career sacks. In 2018, the linebacker became a world champion as the Eagles defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII.
