The first modern player on this list, Johnson is still playing college football at Ohio State. As a high schooler, Johnson had 42 tackles and seven interceptions as a junior and 27 tackles and two INTs as a sophomore before helping his DeSmet team to a state title in an abbreviated 2020 season.
Johnson has contributed for the Buckeyes over each of his two seasons, playing in 15 games and recording 22 total tackles. He is once again projected to add to Ohio State鈥檚 secondary this fall.
