3. Kyle Allen, Desert Mountain
Allen and teammate Mark Andrews were must-see on Friday nights in Arizona for Desert Mountain High School. Allen was arguably the best quarterback in his recruiting class and ultimately decided to attend Texas A&M. He would back up Kenny Hill as a true freshman in 2014, but would eventually take over as the Aggies鈥� quarterback later that year. Allen would split time the following season with Kyler Murray and would transfer to Houston to finish out his college career.
He went undrafted in 2018 but signed on with the Carolina Panthers where he spent his first two seasons in the NFL. Allen has established himself as a solid backup quarterback over the years and has made nearly $5 million in his five-year career thus far.
