6. Chris Todd, Elizabethtown (2001-04)
Another Kentucky high school star quarterback from the early 2000s, Todd was step-for-step with Brohm in the Kentucky record books. As the Panthers‘ signal-caller, Todd finished his career with 10,766 passing yards and 120 touchdown passes. After winning the state championship as a senior, Todd joined the football program at Texas Tech.
Todd redshirted his first year at Texas Tech and played sparingly as a redshirt freshman before transferring to Hutchinson Community College. Following one year at the JUCO level, Todd transferred to Auburn where he started most of 2008 and all of 2009. During Todd鈥檚 final year, he threw for 2,612 yards and a then single-season record 22 touchdowns.
