Playing for head coach Jason Herring, Quintanilla helped the Bobcats win the 2011 state title and set a Texas high school football record, which has been broken since, with 10 TD passes in a single game. He also accumulated 13,832 career passing yards and signed with A&M-Kingsville to play football and baseball.聽
