After Laurinaitis recorded nine tackles in his freshman season, he became a staple for Jim Tressel鈥檚 defense from 2006-08, winning back-to-back Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year awards (2007 and 2008). He finished his career with 375 tackles, the ninth-most in program history.
